We offer apprenticeship opportunities to train young people from local communities in which we operate to become artisans in the following disciplines:
• Boiler making
To apply for the artisan/apprenticeship training programmes, our minimum requirements are:
• Matric with pass in Maths and Physical Science
• N2 Certificate in electrical, boiler making, fitting and turning or equivalent
• Ability to read and write English
• General knowledge of basic engineering or previous experience in engineering work
• Ability to read drawings
We offer bursaries to qualifying students who intend to study towards
a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following engineering fields:
The bursary covers tuition fees, books and accommodation and is initially applicable for one year of study.
We provide internship opportunities for graduates in Organisational Performance (Human Resources) and Risk Management for twelve months, enabling them to gain experiential learning in the workplace.
We follow a ‘building blocks’ approach with particular reference to providing training that constitutes transferable or portable skills.
